- Debit settlement F.I.R.E.
With the way things are I just cannot even swing the min payments anymore. My job has taken a hit and me and the wife are working night and day and just not making it. I was 2 days late on my Chase and they jacked the interest to 23% and I owe them 30k. I have gone back and fourth with them and they refuse to do anything. I owe a total of 65k in debit and at this rate it will take me 20 years to pay it off. I have a 700 credit score never late but my debit to income ratio is smoked. I tired a home equity loan but the market is bad and was declined again because my debit to ratio. At this point I see no light but to enter into a debit settlement program, I understand my credit will take a hit on the on-set but I really see no choice. I have called a few consolidation companies and was declined. The program is 36 months long, it will free us up a little and I will be debit free providing the credit card companies settle in 3 years. Does anyone have feedback on debtapp.com

so today i received a letter in the mail from asset acceptance that states

The orginal creditor is AIMCO which i never even heard of to begin with. The only AIMCO i know is the transmission shop where we got our transmission fixed and my grandfather paid the balance in full using his credit card. There's no way I could be getting charged still from them.
Is this even right for them to do? I called them today without giving them my info and they told me that when I apply for something i authorize everyone to go into my report to see what i'm doing. i don't understand this. is this even legal for them to go into my credit report to check inquiries i have made? My husband and i are in the process of rebuilding our credit so we can buy our rent to own home. I was pretty upset today when I got this letter and i'm not sure if anyone else has recieved similary letters!

I would just like to get some input on our situation. We owe quite a bit on our credit cards, about 25,000 We aren't behind on any payments, but making the payments is stretching us pretty hard. We had to short-sell our house so our credit will be damaged, unfortunately. I have been looking at debt consolidation programs and it seems like a good idea. If we did that we would close all our credit cards, of course, so we wouldn't have the same problem again. We are making steps to improve and trying to follow the Dave Ramsey plan. We live in WA state. I am unsure of how to find a reputable debt consolidation company. Can anyone help?

I have a payday loan that I had took out 2 years ago and completely forgot a about and I willing to pay the loan back but this guy keeps calling me and saying he is pressing charges and I am going to jail and threatning to send someone to my job to arrest me and calling my work and cell number and home at least 10-15 times aday and I don't know what to do about it please give me some answers. they are out of california and he says it it called sonic payday
