How can I gain self-confidence? I am feeling that I am losing life in vain because I have nothing to do. My husband cheated me and my 2 sons couldn?t survive. It?s decreasing my self- confidence. Gurumaa pranam to your Lotus Feet. I am 25 years old belonging to a brahmin family. According to scriptures, it is evident that one should act according to his religion (dharmacharan). In Gita, Shri Krashna directs Arjuna to do yuddha because he is ?kshatriya?. In olden times, the tasks were decided as ?brahmin?, ?kshatriya?, ?vaishya?, ?shudra?. But in present times, it is not possible as everyone is doing every task. So how should the appropriate karma be decided in today's world?

Gurumaa Pranam, I have read somewhere that it is necessary to take rest for 10 minutes after meditation for melting the energy in body which is generated during the meditation otherwise it is lost. Please guide.

Due to Age factor, can I sit on sofa taking the back support and sit in meditation to keep my backbone straight. I can sit in this posture for more than one hour quite comfortably and feel like going deep and deep into meditation.
