YouTube recently announced what they call a "Community Council." Essentially, it's a group of five volunteers from the YouTube commnunity who will be providing feedback about the site and its features over the next six months. When the six months is up, another group rotates in.

According to Quarterlife co-creator Marshall Herskovitz, the online web series about vloggers that recnently went mainstream on NBC (with paltry ratings) never was ready for prime time. Says Herskovitz, â??It never should have been a network show. Itâ??s too specific. It will probably end up on cable.â?
