The Accounting Manager is responsible for providing accounting, financial analysis, internal and external reporting services as well as supervision and mentoring a team of Staff Accountants at our international headquarters in Bethel, CT. Primary Responsibilities include: Month-end closing, consolidations and reporting. Develop and communicate accounting policy and analysis with foreign subsidiaries. Budget reviews with corporate department managers. Manage the annual Consolidated Financial Statement process. Manage both External Audits and U.S. tax filing. Support annual budget process. Special projects and analysis. Ideal candidate must have a BA/BS in Accounting with a minimum of six years in a progressive private environment or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Supervision and team management experience. Excellent knowledge of GAAP, general accounting, and financial account analysis. Strong technical, analytical and problem solving skills. Strong oral and written communication skills. Proficient PC skills, with advanced Excel experience a must. CPA preferred.
