Just wanted to let you know that off to the left of the sidewalk as you approach hole #15 is a big bunch of poison ivy. It's been there all along but now that all those trees are cut down it is very exposed.

Sorry everyone but Thunder Mountain is closed until August. Because the camp is used for other things besides disc golf the camp get alot of kids for the summer.

YO! YO! YO! YO! YO! THAT'S RIGHT! It's time for the One! The Only! The 5th Annual Denver Classic. And it was a long time coming. Those of you that have play in the Denver Classic know what a special tournament it is. It will be the third year that we have had the fortune to play at the course this tournament was created for Lakewood Dry Gulch ( Paco's Gulch ). Denver Classic named in honor of the City of Denver Colorado ( Queen City of the plains ). What a great place to live and be able to play a great sport like disc golf, We shoud be thankful for that alone. So let us thank the City of Denver for all they have done for us. THANKS.

Let me tell you it was like trying to play chess in a monkey cage.
Saturdays and Sundays are just to crowded!

Hi from The Croydon Disc Golf Club in London, England.
We had the idea of MINI MAYHEM a couple of months ago. The idea was to do a video of EXTREME URBAN MINI DISC GOLF which is filmed in and around the monuments of London. We would like to invite everyone to have a go as well. So… have a look at our video and then SHOW US WHAT YOU’VE GOT!!!

- Permits for events
I don't know if everyone realizes it or not, but whenever you hold an event at a disc golf course in a public park you need to get the proper permit.
If you don't, you are putting the course at risk of being pulled !
These courses are hard enough to get and to get them paid for.
So no matter whether it is a tournament or a fundraiser or a charity event you do need to follow park rules.

A couple very important notes about this Saturday...
* No smoking on the course! - there is a designated area on top where you can have one before we start and maybe once during the round depending on which hole you start. If you can't make it a round without smoking please wait until next week.
* Parking - there is a wedding this Saturday so we must park on the first trail head. It's easy to find. We'll meet on top of the hill to get started...where they had tourney central for the fundraiser. Sorry about the walk...but deal with it! We get to play an awesome course!
* Dogs - please make sure dogs are leashed at all times.
* Be nice - this is a shared open space area so please be nice to other users...especially equestrians.
* Start time - 10:00
* Have fun!!!

The 2nd annual ladies open took place on Sunday Nov. 4th.
there were 29 ladies present and all the men caddied.
The ladies disc golf group is known as the Arizona Disc Divas.
Several of the men in attendance came out of pocket with money for an ace it went from 100.00 to 300.00 in about 10 seconds.
now thats what I call support!
- Winter Warriors
Hey all, Winter Warriors are starting this weekend. If you're not familiar with this 13 week Saturday morning doubles series, it is a fundraiser for 2 different food banks, Arvada Food Bank and Food Bank of the Rockies. Randy Anderson started it 2 years ago as a way to keep getting people out after tournament season and during the winter months.

My name is Brie and I am with the student group Alternative Breaks at the University of Colorado at Boulder. We are having the AB Autumn Classic, a disc golf tourney as a fundraising event for our program and wanted to invite you and your colleagues, teams, teammates, friends, etc. to the event.
